Verzuz became a massive platform, created by Swizz Beatz and Timbaland last March. This created hit-for-hit battles between artists virtually, through Instagram Live. It definitely helped music fans during the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, as they saw their favorite artists and producers go at it.
Verzuz soon ended up bringing artists in the same room, and eventually this year, having some people in attendance. Next month even features Dipset vs The Lox at Madison Square Garden, with fans having the opportunity to purchase tickets to see this in-person.
50 Cent is one of the legends that many want to see participate in Verzuz. Journalist Julian Cannon recently asked 50 if this is something that he’d entertain doing, as he made it know that this is not. 50 explained how everyone is back outside again, and Verzuz is mainly something that was good during the time where people had to deal with COVID restrictions in states.
Maybe, if 50 ends up finding out that fans can go to his Verzuz battle, he would reconsider. Flip the page to check out him denying interest in appearing in Verzuz.
