Judge Orders Mom and Dad to Pay $45k For Throwing Out Their Son David Werking’s Adult Film Collection

Alrighty then…..

For some news that you’re probably never going to hear of ever again, a set of Michigan parents owe their son over $30,000 in cash after they threw out something that was apparently very valuable to him. We’re not talking about vintage trading cards, signed jerseys, expensive memorabilia, expensive gifts, or anything of that matter.

No, this set of parents threw out something that apparently meant a great deal to their son.

Yes, we’re talking about a real-life Adult Film collection. This is the thing(s) this set of parents threw out and are now responsible for paying back every last penny it was worth.

A judge has ordered a western Michigan couple to pay $30,441 to their son for getting rid of his pornography collection.

This week, U.S. District Judge Paul Maloney’s decision came eight months after David Werking, 43, won a lawsuit against his parents.

He said they had no right to throw out his collection of films, magazines, and other items. Werking had lived at their Grand Haven home for 10 months after a divorce before moving to Muncie, Indiana.

The judge followed the value set by an expert, MLive.com reported. Werking’s parents also must pay $14,500 to their son’s attorney.

My guy was serious about his collection.

I wonder if he was getting that stuff off the Adam and Eve catalog, or was he actually going to the dirty tapes shops and buying them.

I don’t know if that is still a thing because of the internet.

Do you know who actually changed the adult film industry?

Napster.

Back in the day, you had to buy the full video or DVD and deal with the fast-forwarding and rewinding, but Napster changed the game.

Most people remember it for the music sharing, but they also started downloading adult film clips. Eventually, just like that led to music streaming, it paved the way for adult film streaming.
