In that moment, nothing was done to remove this fan from Coors Field, as this clip soon went viral on social media. Fans online immediately called for this man to be banned for life from all MLB ballparks, which is the right move that needs to be made.
The Rockies have since released a statement about this incident, as they said how they are disgusted at what this fan said to Brinson, as they are investigating what went down. They went on to emphasize that any fan using racist or derogatory language will be ejected and banned from Coors Field.
