Cops are just so damn weird, and they make it really hard for anyone to trust them.
Chicago cop Lt. Wilfredo Roman has turned himself into Chicago Internal Affairs after he was accused of shoving a flashlight into a teenager that was handcuffed, according to VladTV.
The 21-year veteran is said to have begun his assault after the 17-year-old complained about the handcuffs being too tight. Roman’s lawyer downplayed the accusations during his client’s bond hearing on Thursday, claiming the alleged assault was a “spank or spanking” and that the flight light was smaller than a pen.
Roman has had 40 citizen complaints over his career and has been sued 3 times. He was relieved of his police powers, which just means he was fired and might face more criminal actions but more than likely won’t.
It seems like someone with that many complaints shouldn’t still be a cop because all of those people aren’t lying.
