Pathers’ Brian Burns has called out Patriots’ Mac Jones over his ‘dirty’ play on him and encouraged his fellow ‘D-End Brothers’ to get revenge.
Brian Burns, who thinks he’s never going to get an apology from Patriots’ Mac Jones over the ‘dirty’ play, is encouraging his fellow D-End Brothers to get revenge.
Brian Burns said:
“I wish all my fellow D-end brothers happy hunting. That’s all.”
According to Brian Burns, he expects the NFL to handle it.
It would be nice to have an apology, Mac, but it’s not going to happen. However the NFL handles it, it’s on them. I would just like to play them again.
Mac Jones reacting to Brian Burns’ comments during his weekly news conference in Foxborough, Mass, said:
I thought [Burns] had the ball. It’s my job to try to make a tackle. That was pretty much it. I didn’t mean to hurt anybody.I was just trying to tackle him and make the play, because I didn’t really know what was going on.
The Athletic reports that:
The play left Burns with an injured ankle, one that affected Burns for the remainder of the game. But he added that he expects to play Sunday at Arizona, which is 8-1.
