Who is lying?
Bruce Arians just stated the reason he kicked Antonio Brown off the field was because he told him that he wasn’t getting the ball.
He didn’t deny the throat slash.
Antonio Brown says Arians kicked him off the field because he was mad when AB told him his ankle was hurting and he couldn’t continue.
The Bucs in their statement did not state that Brown didn’t tell Arians about his ankle, they stated that AB didn’t go through the protocol of talking to the trainers and medical staff.
AB says he couldn’t go to medical staff because he was kicked off the field immediately by Arians who seems to confirm that in the statement.
Someone isn’t telling the truth.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have terminated the contract of Antonio Brown, effective immediately, the team announced Thursday.
“While Antonio did receive treatment on his ankle and was listed on the injury report the week leading up to last Sunday’s game, he was cleared to play by our medical team prior to the start of the game and at no point during the game did he indicate to our medical personnel that he could not play.
“We have attempted, multiple times throughout this week, to schedule an evaluation by an outside orthopedic specialist, yet Antonio has not complied. Maintaining the health and wellness of our players is of the utmost importance to our organization.”
A Bucs team official, however, told ESPN’s Adam Schefter that Brown was agitated at halftime of Sunday’s game against the New York Jets about not getting the targets he was expecting and he had to be calmed down.
Brown’s attorney told ESPN’s Jenna Laine that Brown wasn’t upset about the lack of targets.
