The goons must have been scouting Draymond’s house for weeks.
They often rob mansions when they know the owner won’t be around for a period of time. In this case, they knew Draymond and his crew were going to be gone for at least six hours while they were enjoying the Super Bowl at Sofi Stadium.
Here is how much they stole via TMZ.
Warriors forward Draymond Green’s L.A. house was ransacked during Super Bowl weekend … and over $1,000,000 worth of stuff — watches, jewelry, and other property — was stolen, TMZ Sports has learned.
Law enforcement sources tell us 31-year-old Green — who attended Super Bowl LVI at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles — came home later that night and discovered someone had busted their way into his home.
Our sources tell us the alleged perps entered Green’s residence through his window … and made off with watches, jewelry, and other personal property.
Unfortunately, this isn’t the first time something like this has happened to an athlete in Los Angeles. During Game 7 of the World Series in 2017, Dodgers star Yasiel Puig’s home was burglarized.
You got to beef up that security system and maybe put those valuables in a safe. Hopefully, Draymond has everything insured.
He hasn’t played for a while because of a back injury.
Draymond Green, who has missed the last 19 games (20 if including the Jan. 9 game vs. Cleveland in which he played seven seconds) due to a lower back/disc injury, is making good progress in his recovery/rehabilitation and it’s anticipated that he will return to play at some point after the All-Star break. He has recently progressed to doing some light on-court activity and will continue to increase his workload moving forward. The next update will be provided when he returns to practice on a date to be determined.
Be safe out there everyone.
Flip the pages Draymond at the game.
