I like sneakers as much as the next person, but I will never understand resorting to violence over it.
On top of that a man should never commit physical violence against a woman especially with a weapon. This guy deserves to be thrown under the jail.
It isn’t safe anywhere in America these days.
It is insane.
Foot Locker did a release of Nike Dunks Wednesday, and there was a line outside the store on Melrose Ave. to get in for the hot new kicks. An eyewitness tells TMZ … there was some argument between two separate parties in the line for the shoes, which sparked a physical fight, leading to the stabbing.
You see a male in a black T-shirt hop a barricade with a knife and swing on the woman in blue jeans, stabbing her.
It appears from the video we’ve obtained she was stabbed in the abdomen. We are not showing the actual stabbing but it is brutal. The woman was rushed by ambulance to the hospital. We do not know her condition.
A man has been taken into custody.
The Los Angeles Police Department responded to a call near the intersection of Melrose Avenue and Genesee Avenue a little after 2:15 p.m. Wednesday. Police say the woman was stabbed in the stomach area.
Police said there isn’t any indication the suspect and victim are strangers, and the incident may be related to a domestic dispute.
Further details were not immediately released.
Hopefully, the woman is ok, from the video it didn’t look like she was bleeding too much but you never know if something hit a vital organ or something like that. It has been wild in LA ever since people have been allowed back outside after COVID.
