The most famous Father in sports has a history of making predictions, dating back to him forecasting his son, Lonzo, being drafted by the Los Angeles Lakers in 2017.
But Chicago Bulls fans hope his latest prediction is one that doesn’t come to fruition. According to LaVar Ball, Chicago Bulls star Zach LaVine will be taking his talents out West. LaVar is making the claim LaVine wants to play for the Lakers.
“He’s gone,” LaVar matter-of-factly said when asked in a recent interview with David Kaplan whether he believes Zach LaVine will re-sign with the Bulls this offseason.
To where?
“They’re gonna love him in LA,” LaVar said.
For the first time in his NBA career this offseason, LaVine will be an unrestricted free agent. As he said in his end-of-season exit interview with reporters, Lavine plans to approach that process with an open mind.
The Bulls have built a solid nucleus which is built around Lavine, and had everyone been healthy this season, including Lonzo, the Bulls might have made a real run in the Eastern Conference.
According to the BIG BALLER, Lavine doesn’t want to play second fiddle to DeMar Derozen in Chicago. Lavine probably wouldn’t have to play second fiddle if he wasn’t always hurt. Injuries have been the only thing that has stopped him from reaching his full potential.
