The LA Sparks are getting ready for their season and they have started by cutting one of their most popular and marketable players Te’a Cooper.
The Los Angeles Sparks waived three players Wednesday, including guard Te’a Cooper.
Cooper, 25, averaged 8.2 points in 51 games (16 starts) for the Sparks in two seasons. She made 13 of those starts in 2021, averaging 9.1 points.
Cooper was selected in the second round of the 2020 draft by the Phoenix Mercury but was waived six weeks later. She joined the Sparks in June.
Others may know Cooper from her time being married to Dwight Howard.
Dwight Howard and LA Sparks Te’A Cooper were allegedly secretly married not too long ago, but alas the marriage (or engagement if they never went through with it) didn’t last.
It was pretty much doomed from the time that Dwight accidentally showed messages from Coopers where she accused him of cheating with “people” while he was celebrating winning the NBA title.
They made a few appearances after that, but BSO reported that they had broken up.
Cooper decided to make an official announcement on Instagram Live.
It was a very STRONG announcement where she said she never wants to hear his named mentioned again and she is back on the market.
Feel free to shoot your shot if you like.
She wasn’t on the market for long as Saints RB Alvin Kamara swept in.
Following Alvin Kamara’s Pro Bowl dust-up, he and his girlfriend Te’a Cooper have embarked on a tropical vacation with their photos splashed on Te’a’s 1.5 million Instagram page. They are obviously enjoying themselves on their vacation. It’s all about fun having and cooling off.
Cooper was briefly married to Lakers center Dwight Howard and was seen celebrating with him in the NBA bubble when the Lakers won the title. They broke up shortly after that, and Te’a stated she never wanted anyone to ever mention his name again to her, so the breakup was contentious, to say the least. She started dating Kamara almost immediately afterward, as BSO was the first to report on the budding relationship, which now looks to be in full swing.
If you ever go to Cancun like Kamara and Cooper, I suggest feeding the dolphins and taking the camel ride (or horseback if you prefer to ride near the ocean).
Flip the pages for the Te’a Cooper thirst traps.
