Mike Tyson on Jada Pinkett Manipulating Will Smith to Smack Chris Rock at Oscars

Remember Will Smith’s song “I Think I Can Beat Mike Tyson.”

It wasn’t quite a hit like “Parents Just Don’t Understand,” but it did get some buzz back in the day and had a cool music video.

“I Think I Can Beat Mike Tyson” is the first single taken from DJ Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince’s third studio album, And in This Corner…. The song was released as a single in late 1989. This is the duo’s first single to be available on Compact Disc format. It peaked at number 58 on the Billboard Hot 100.

A music video was released in 1989, which included guest-starring Chris Rock, and guest appearances by Mike Tyson, as well as his promoter Don King, and co-manager John Horne.

Who would have known that 30+ years later, it would be Mike Tyson speaking on Will Smith committing a violent act on national television?

That is how you know the world keeps spinning.

Here is Iron Mike on Jimmy Kimmel speaking about if he was surprised that Jada was able to manipulate Wil into slapping Chris Rock at the Oscars.

Just about every person in the public limelight has given their view on Will Smith’s now infamous slap on Chris Rock at the Oscars, and Mike Tyson is the latest to have done so.

It seems to take a lot to shock the former heavyweight champion, who wasn’t too taken aback by the incident when asked about it on Jimmy Kimmel Live.

“That was interesting,” he said.

“I don’t know, if he [Will Smith] felt it was necessary to do it, if he’s not shocked, I’m not shocked.”

Tyson implies that Jada instructed him to do it, and if that is the case, he wouldn’t be shocked. I don’t think anyone is surprised at the lengths to that Jada can manipulate people at this point.
