Zach Wilson had to do the half-hearted wave with a mystery blonde at the Yankees game. In a video published on the internet, he was seen seated next to a mystery blonde via the New York Post;
The Jets quarterback, previously seen at a Mets game in May, took in the Yankees’ 4-3 win over the Rays at Yankees Stadium on Wednesday night.
Seated next to a mystery blonde — she did not appear to be ex-girlfriend Abbey Gile or the unidentified woman from a jaunt to Miami in March — Wilson took part in the wave as it went around the stadium.
Wilson wasn’t the only Jet in attendance. The Bombers welcomed several members of Gang Green on Wednesday: Tyler Conklin, CJ Uzomah, Conor McDermott, Mike White and Dan Feeney all took in the action.
Wilson and his teammates have made appearances throughout the New York sports scene, cheering on the Islanders, Rangers, Knicks, Nets, Mets and Yankees.
It’s a big season coming up for Wilson, with Year 2 on the horizon and hopes raised as the team goes through its June camp.
“I feel I can be one of the best,” Wilson told reporters on Wednesday. “And if you don’t say that you’re not a true competitor.”
The new lady looked very much like his old lady who he dropped after he got drafted.
Wilson, who just wrapped his rookie year in New York, seemingly took down a post from November, which featured him and Gile enjoying a date night with Jets teammates Nick Bawden and Quinnen Williams and their significant others.
Gile, meanwhile, appears to have erased a picture of herself and Wilson posing outside MetLife Stadium in October, when he got his first Jets win. As of Thursday, however, Gile and Wilson still follow one another.
Gile has been linked to Wilson since their teenage years. Last April, Gile joined Wilson and his family at the 2021 NFL Draft in Cleveland, where the former BYU quarterback was selected second overall.
“Still can’t wrap my head around this moment. Feeling so blessed to have been a part of his journey since high school,” Gile gushed at the time. “Zach has worked so hard to be here and he made his dream reality.”
