Packers Celebrate TD By Pretending to Take a Drink of Ayahuasca Tea With Aaron Rodgers

Aaron Rodgers is into some weird sh*t.

We probably won’t know the full extent of how weird he is until after he retires. Hopefully, he doesn’t become another Brett Favre, but it is trending that way.

Since he is still an excellent QB, people will overlook some things and, in this case, play along with them.

All of the Packers’ starting offense is now drinking the ayahuasca Kool-Aid — at least, figuratively — ’cause they pretended to partake in the consumption of the psychoactive tea in the end zone on Sunday night!!

The Packers wideout pretended the ball was the infamous drink that Rodgers said earlier this year led to the “best season of my career” — pouring it into the hands of all of his teammates.

One by one, each guy pretended to sip the drink — and then fell over. Eventually, it got to Rodgers, who faked being shocked by it all before giving Lazard a big hug.

I am unsure if falling over after drinking a fake psychoactive tea is the image the NFL wants, but who cares for now? The Packers were just happy they were able to win a game.

Aaron Jones made sure the Green Bay Packers’ promise to get him the ball more often paid off.

Jones rushed for 132 yards and a touchdown and caught a scoring pass from Aaron Rodgers, who continued his domination of the Chicago Bears by leading Green Bay to a 27-10 victory on Sunday night.

Jones had five carries for 49 yards and three catches for 27 yards in a season-opening 23-7 loss at Minnesota, and the Packers (1-1) vowed he’d have a bigger role.

“That just naturally put a smile on my face,” Jones said. “I knew I had to show up when my number was called. That just pushes me that much harder.”

Jones came through, gaining 8.8 yards per rush and leading the Packers’ 203-yard ground attack. He had 15 carries as well as three catches for 38 yards.

Green Bay beat the Bears (1-1) for a seventh straight time, matching its second-longest win streak in the 205-game history of the NFL’s oldest rivalry. The Packers won 10 straight over the Bears from 1994-98. They have two other seven-game win streaks in this series, from 1928-30 and 2000-03.
