Ja’Marr Chase has gone viral over a video of him destroying the CBS sound guy on the sidelines and leaving him bloody. It was a big hit to the sound guy and the medical staff had to rush and attend to him.
According to TPS;
After taking a handoff, Bengals wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase made his way towards the sidelines where he collided with the sound guy, sending him hard to the ground.
The sounds guy needed to be attended to by medical staff, and he could be seen with blood on his face as a result of the hit. No word yet on whether or not he was able to remain in the game.
This is just another reminder that you’re never safe when on a football field…even if you’re beyond the field of play.
Chase will be looking to inflict some damage on the Cowboys defense this afternoon. His Bengals already find themselves in a hole, despite Dallas not having Dak Prescott in their lineup.
To add insult to injury, the Bengals lost the game.
Cooper Rush had no choice but to smile as he embraced offensive coordinator Kellen Moore after the winning kick for the Dallas Cowboys.
Dak Prescott’s backup now has a 2-0 career record filling in, with winning drives on his final possession both times. That was enough to let the emotion flow for the normally stoic Rush, at least for a few moments.
“It’s actually exciting to see him be excited after he won a game,” coach Mike McCarthy after a 20-17 victory over Cincinnati on Sunday. “To get a charge out of it because he is so, so consistent.”
Rush led the drive to Brett Maher’s 50-yard field goal as time expired, and the Cowboys held on after losing a two-touchdown halftime lead.
Joe Burrow got the defending AFC champion Bengals even at 17-17 by leading a 19-play, 83-yard drive in the fourth quarter, throwing a 5-yard touchdown pass to Tee Higgins and finding Tyler Boyd for the 2-point conversion.
