Ben Simmons is starting to be known as the NBA’s Kevin Bacon.
There are some Six Degrees of Separation going on here. It doesn’t matter what the story is, it always seems to lead back to Ben Simmons.
Case in point.
As opening statements were underway in the Tory Lanez assault trial, a lot of tea had been spilling, and the cup runneth over. In an exclusive statement to The Shade Room, a source close to the situation stopped by to clear up the alleged misinformation regarding Kelsey Nicole.
As previously reported by @lawyersfornewyork, Tory’s defense alleges that the former friends, Megan Thee Stallion and Kelsey Nicole were see were seen fighting on the night of the shooting. The defense’s opening statement continued to say that the women had dealings with the same men—Tory, DaBaby and NBA player Ben Simmons.
A source exclusively told The Shade Room that allegations of Kelsey having any dealings with Simmons “are false” because “Kelsey doesn’t know him at all.” We were also told that Tory called Megan from jail apologizing for what happened.
Simmons for his part has subliminal denied the accusations according to Hip-Hop Vibe.
However, more information is coming out, surrounding who Megan had been seeing. She allegedly dated Tory, DaBaby, and even Ben Simmons of the Brooklyn Nets.
Social media has since been on fire, after rumors of Megan sleeping with Ben Simmons came out. As a result, it now seems that Ben is now responding to the rumors. He just took to his Instagram stories to post a meme, where “accusations are false.”
Megan had been rumored to be dating Tory and DaBaby before, on social media. This is due to Megan being with Tory in LA on the night of the shooting, and allegedly being jealous of Tory wanting Kylie Jenner. Megan’s rumored involvement with DaBaby dates back to 2019.
It was also reported on court that Megan admitted to having relations with Tory Lanez even though she had denied that to Gayle King.
