Let me be very clear with this.
If an athlete or coach were to confront Skip Bayless physically, that would be the best thing that ever happened to Skip Bayless in his life.
Skip would take a black eye for the type of content that would provide him for the rest of his days on earth.
What Matt Barnes is talking about is exactly what Skip wants.
Even Matt Barnes reacted to Skip’s pathetic behavior by remembering an incident where he and Unc saved him from a severe thrashing by an NBA player, and said “Skip’s day is coming”.
There are many people who believe that he is nothing more than a troll who loves to start arguments and sticks to it just because it’s fun. He doesn’t care if his views are disrespectful to anybody or if it’s insensitive in any way, shape, or form.
Skip wants attention, and we have been giving it to him for years. That is how he has become one of the most highly-paid sports commentators in the world. But it’s time for the cancel culture to catch up to a deserving man.
It was only a few days back when the 71-year-old disrespected his long-time studio partner and NFL Hall of Fame, Shannon Sharpe, on live television. And when Sharpe came back to the sets on Wednesday after missing an episode following Skip’s controversial Tweet, there was another disrespect in store waiting for him. But this time Unc stopped it right away.
All this is just helping Skip Bayless.
He works for a network that employes Tucker Carlson and tells athletes to shut up and dribble this is light work for them. They do not care that Skip is causing problems, they are happy the ratings are through the roof because of it.
Flip the page for Shannon and Skip getting into it and Matt Barnes saying Skip day is coming.
