Valentine’s Day is just around the corner, and with it comes a new, limited-edition Valentine’s collection from Kim Kardashian’s cult-favorite brand Skims. The new line was announced today with a series of spicy shots featuring actresses and best friends Simona Tabasco and Beatrice Grannò, just a few months after their breakout roles on The White Lotus Season 2.
Kardashian announced the new release in an Instagram post, which she captioned with, “I watched The White Lotus and had to have my girls!” The Valentine’s Day collection is set to release on January 26.
Included in the collection are the sexy silhouettes that Skims is known for with a Valentine’s Day makeover. Expect lots of pink, low necklines, and lace. The collection also features loungewear in a pink, heart-covered print, cute boxed sets of socks and underwear, and the cult-favorite Fits Everyone bandeau in a set of exclusive colors.
The White Lotus girls are far from the first celebrities to step in to model new products for Skims. In the past, Kardashian has tapped stars like Brooke Shields, Chelsea Handler, and Juliette Lewis to model for the underwear, loungewear, and shape-wear brand.
Kim Kardashian knows how to make money. She isn’t trying to sell you anything that she knows is going to make you think. She is going to sell things that she can put on and look good on Instagram for and have her 100 million followers breaking website to get some cotton undies.
These are nothing but Hanes with a Kardashian name attached to it. I am not hating, it is smart business.
