Nigerian songwriter and singer Tiwa Savage is reported to have almost been kidnapped by four newly recruited members of her domestic staff. It’s a crazy world and y’all be cautious with the kind of people you allow into your space.
According to VladTV;
Nigerian singer-songwriter Tiwa Savage was the victim of a near-kidnapping on Thursday (April 13) after members of her recently hired domestic staff attempted to kidnap her. Thankfully, they were unsuccessful at pulling off the kidnapping.
According to The Guardian, members of the staff had personal information about Tiwa that they passed on to an outside group who attempted to kidnap her. Local authorities and members of Tiwa’s security staff worked to thwart the would-be kidnappers and rescue Tiwa.

Tiwa also updated worried fans on Instagram in a statement that read, “Following recent reports online, we can confirm that on Thursday 13 April 2023, there was a major security breach at the residence of musician Tiwa Savage. A number of suspects were caught and are currently being held under investigation at Alagbon Police Station, Ikoyi.”
