The thing about the MET GALA is it is just an event that gives celebrities an opportunity to try to outdo each other.
Then they all get drunk and talk about each other behind their back.
That might as well call it the Kardashian-Jenner Gala since that is all people talk about.
Kendall Jenner went pantsless in cheeky sequins for the Met Gala 2023 red carpet Monday night.
The supermodel’s black bum-baring leotard, complete with a matching cape, was designed by Marc Jacobs.
She accessorized the sparkly ensemble with Wolford tights and black platform boots, styling her hair in a sleek ponytail.
Jenner was expected to join Bad Bunny for the rumored couple’s red carpet debut, but the “Tití Me Preguntó” rapper arrived at fashion’s biggest night solo wearing an all-white suit by Jacquemus.
The “Kardashians” star, 27, and Bad Bunny, 29, have been romantically linked since February.
Tonight’s event honors the legacy of Jenner’s late fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld, who died in 2019 and was a friend of the Kardashians and Jenner family.
In fact, in 2014, the reality star walked in her first Chanel runway show of many — and in 2015, she earned the coveted honor of closing his show as a Chanel “bride.”
In a 2016 joint interview with Harper’s Bazaar, Lagerfeld said he had never watched “Keeping Up With the Kardashians,” but that he immediately bonded with Jenner when they met.
“There was a good feeling coming from her. And I don’t see that with everybody! There is something very warm, human, and sweet about her,” the notoriously stoic Lagerfeld said of the budding model, also declaring that she was “on her way” to becoming an icon.
Most recently, Jenner was one of a handful of models to cover the May issue of Vogue, paying tribute to Lagerfeld and looking ahead to the Met Gala.
While the 818 Tequila founder has been a fixture on the Met Gala red carpet since 2014, Bad Bunny, whose real name is Benito Ocasio, has attended the charity event just once, making his debut last year in a trench coat dress.
