Jimmy Butler may have lost the NBA Finals, but he may have gained a bigger victory off the court by reportedly dating legendary singer Shakira. Although they initially tried to keep their relationship quiet, they have since made it public.
Shakira has sparked dating rumors with a high-profile athlete — and it’s not Lewis Hamilton.
The “Hips Don’t Lie” singer stepped out with Miami Heat player Jimmy Butler for a “low-key” dinner date in London Wednesday night, an eyewitness tells Page Six.
Shakira, who was reportedly romancing Formula 1 driver Hamilton just last month, was seen arriving at Novikov Restaurant & Bar shortly after 10 p.m., around the same time as Butler.
Although they attempted to keep a low profile while entering the swanky Asian and Italian eatery, we’re told the pair also left just minutes apart around 1:30 a.m.
The 33-year-old NBA All-Star’s security detail even helped the Grammy winner, 46, get into her “chauffeur-driven car from the fire exit of the restaurant,” the spy tells us.
I wonder if they had some BIG FACE coffee after dinner.
The duo’s outing in England is one of several times they have been spotted together in recent months. Shakira — who moved to Miami with sons Milan, 9, and Sasha, 7, whom she shares with Piqué, 38 — attended a Heat game in May and shared a selfie video cheering on the team. Several days later, Shakira shared a clip of herself singing and playing guitar via Instagram, which Butler “liked.”
Shakira’s possible budding romance comes nearly one year after she and Piqué called it quits. The former couple were together for 12 years but never tied the knot.
