Saweetie and her security do not play the Nepo baby card, so for her 30th birthday celebration on Monday, July 3rd, she didn’t entertain any uninvited guests, no matter who you are or how relevant your parents are to make you walk entitled.
So not even upcoming NBA stars Bronny James, 18, and Shareef O’Neal, 23, sons of LeBron James and Shaquille O’Neal, were spared. Despite not being invited, they showed up at the party, and the security paid no heed to them but drove them away in their disbelief. It was a private party for a reason.
TPS got the juice;
The sons of two NBA icons have found out that having famous daddies won’t get them everywhere as Bronny James and Shareef O’Neal, sons of LeBron James and Shaquille O’Neal, were shooed away from a swanky Hollywood shindig on Monday night.
The two basketball players had plans to party it up at rapper Saweetie’s birthday bash at Poppy Monday and probably never imagined they would be turned down given that they’re the sons of basketball royalty. As it turns out, they were wrong.
TMZ is citing a credible source who claims the youngsters were unable to get through the front door as security denied their whole group entry.
Bronny is already 18, while Shareef is 23, so the rejection couldn’t have been a result of their ages. More than likely, they weren’t on the guest list and security made no exemptions.
They shouldn’t feel too bad, though. Michael Jordan was once refused entry into Dwyane Wade’s party.
Bronny has committed to USC and will suit up for the Trojans next season. He is expected to declare for the NBA Draft in 2024 and is a projected first-round pick. LeBron has made it a goal to play alongside his son, so it should make for an interesting story.
Shareef, meanwhile, plays for the G League’s Ignite after going undrafted last year.
Only entitled people will show up at a private party and expect to be let in without an invitation. Being sons of prominent people does not give them the right to storm someone’s party and demand entry, Saweetie or the securities owes them no apology for driving them away.
