Following Aaron Rodgers’ Season-Ending Injury, Tom Brady Has Been Linked to the New York Jets

Tom Brady is still mentioned anytime an NFL team is looking for a new starting quarterback, despite doing well in retirement.

We haven’t entirely ascended the slope yet. The persistent media narrative linking Tom Brady to any NFL team in need of a quarterback is the fictitious hill we are talking about.

Since Brady announced his (second) retirement from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at the conclusion of the 2022 NFL season, the 49ers, Dolphins, and Raiders have all been mentioned as prospective destinations for him.

Tom Brady seems like the ideal candidate to take over

Brady’s legendary status, his spirit of competition, and the fact that he has previously exited retirement once. It is fairly predictable to hear his name mentioned as a viable answer for clubs in need of aid at the quarterback position given these special circumstances as well as his remarkable performance over his final three seasons as a Buccaneer.

In the end, it’s because everybody is aware that Tom Brady is still fit enough to play.

Four plays into his stint as the starting quarterback for the New York Jets, Aaron Rodgers suffered a season-ending achilles injury. It didn’t take long for Brady to be mentioned as a potential replacement.

Will Brady come out of retirement ?

Contrary to ESPN’s suggestion, Brady staying retired was what was mentioned in the Pat MacAfee show ,

“Before this injury happened [Brady] was very inclined to stay in retirement and I don’t have any idea to believe otherwise.”

The Athletic also confirmed to the Jets fans that Brady won’t come out of the retirement in a tweet they shared of an article done by Dianna Russini.

Even while the national media hasn’t totally given up on mentioning Tom Brady whenever a starting quarterback position becomes available, it seems like individuals are at least willing to put an end to these rumors before they get out of hand.
