The Denver Broncos haven’t defeated the Kansas City Chiefs in a long time. Specifically, it’s eight years.
After the game, the Broncos chose to celebrate by playing Taylor Swift’s “Shake It Off” over the stadium speakers at Mile High. This was their way of getting the monkey off their back and giving Travis Kelce and the Chiefs a 24-9 thrashing.
The nasty maneuver was caught on camera by someone watching the game, and they shared the event with the rest of us by recording it on their phone.

It was the Broncos’ first victory over the Chiefs since 2015. The biggest story of the day was their defense, which limited Patrick Mahomes and company to only nine points.
Kelce had a rather quiet day, catching just six passes for 58 yards. Swift was unable to travel to Denver for today’s game, which perpetuated a pattern in which the star tight end performs below average when his new fiancée isn’t present.
