Although the Baltimore Ravens just suffered a disappointing loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers, NFL commentator Bart Scott believed Lamar Jackson and company will prevail in London.
The Baltimore Ravens have lost two games that they had no business losing because of their inconsistency over the first five weeks of the season. The Ravens, who are currently 3-2, have travelled to London to play the Tennessee Titans at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
What form of the Ravens will we witness, though? the one who exhibited excellent play against the Cincinnati Bengals? Or the one that last week allowed the Pittsburgh Steelers to come back from a double-digit deficit?
Bart Scott’s take on The Ravens
Bart Scott, an NFL Analyst, believes that the Ravens will recover from their defeat by the Steelers. On ESPN’s First Take , Bart said
“I think they have a bounce-back [win],”
“Every once in a while, you have some of these ugly losses to your division rivals, I think they’ll be better going forward. I think they got to go all in because the AFC is wide open.”
It might be difficult to bounce back from a loss to a division foe, especially since Baltimore dominated the game against Pittsburgh.
But because the next game is approaching so soon in the NFL, there isn’t much time to mull over a result. With the Titans game approaching, Ravens head coach John Harbaugh believes his squad is in a strong position. On Raven’s Official Website, Harbaugh said ,
“It’s been a really good week. We’re ready to play,”
“I gauge it by me. If I feel good, they feel good. I feel great, got good rest. Guys are in good spirits. It really picked up yesterday and carried over into today. We’re in a good place.”
Many anticipate that the Ravens offense will finally get going against Tennessee after multiple missed opportunities last week. Lamar Jackson and company should be able to score enough points against the stern Titans defense, which only allows 18.6 points per game.
Finding the consistency everyone seeks is essential to putting Baltimore well for a Super Bowl run because they have already established themselves as one of the better teams in the AFC through the first five weeks of the season.
That begins against the Titans in London, and if the Ravens can play complementary football and shut down Tennessee when the chance arises, win number four ought to follow.
