Ben Simmons, the Brooklyn Nets guard, made headlines on Monday night when he encountered an avid fan. After his pregame workout, Simmons took the time to sign autographs. One particular fan caught his attention by revealing a tattoo of Simmons’ face beneath his No. 10 Nets jersey.
The fan asked Simmons for his shirt, but instead, Simmons tossed his towel and ran off to the locker room. Despite missing a significant portion of the previous season due to a back injury, Simmons has participated in all of the Nets’ preseason games and had a notable performance against the 76ers, contributing 8 points, 6 rebounds, and 9 assists.
