To match his defensive partner’s cool-headedness, linebacker Jermaine Johnson also had a calm moment as he shouted out to “Last Chance U.”

Johnson made an appearance in season 4 of the Netflix series as a member of the 2018 ICC Pirates.
After that, he spent two seasons at Georgia before settling at Florida State in 2021 and establishing himself as a major player in the collegiate football landscape.
It was sufficient for the Jets to select him with the 26th overall pick in the first round of the 2021 NFL Draft.
It’s good to see Johnson still remembers where he came from.
