It could be a tad late for Al Michaels to be doing this. It seemed like the renowned broadcaster had mailed it in during a specific play by the visiting team during this Thursday night’s Titans vs. Steelers game.
Just before the 50-yard line, on second and 4, running back Derrick Henry had just taken a short throw from Will Levis with a little over three minutes remaining in the third quarter. His squad would get close to the red zone when he caught it and ran for 23 yards.
During that play, Michaels sounded like a man calling a one-yard gain.
lmao Al Michaels just doesn’t want to be there man. An absolute Albert Haynesworth effort from Al these past couple years. pic.twitter.com/6TvFKTOKMN

He’s like 90 they probably have to fill his lungs with an air pump so he can even talk.

They stuck him next to an imbecile like Kirk Herbstreit.
What do you expect?

He's mailing it in every week.

Sad b/c Al is done…I mean I don't like to be critical of the older guys, they've punched the clock and have earned some gratis but this is pretty bad. https://t.co/ZLK3APC44Q

Levis gets crushed. Derrick Henry tips the ball back to himself for a chunk gain. Big play.
and Al sounds like he's talking to a telemarketer
so flat

How pissed would you be if you’re a lesser-known play-by-play guy?? Amazon is giving Al Michaels $16,000,000.00 per year for this!!! You could go hire someone who A) is good and B) actually cares for WAY less than that!

In Thursday’s 20-16 loss to the Steelers, Derrick Henry ran for 75 yards and a touchdown on 17 rushes in addition to adding 27 yards on three receptions.
Kenny Pickett of the Steelers finished 19 out of 30 throws for 160 yards, a touchdown, and no interceptions. He produced his second effort of less than 200 yards, but he continued to be free of sacks and fumbles.
On November 12, Pickett will next take aim at the Packers during a home game in Week 10.
