Odell Beckham Jr. is prepared to take over for Mark Andrews, who the Baltimore Ravens lost for the time being. Todd Monken’s offense suddenly has a significant gap as All-Pro tight end Mark Andrews was sidelined for the remainder of the regular season by the Baltimore Ravens.
Lamar Jackson’s top target, Andrews, is now gone, so Jackson will need to find someone else. Fortunately, Odell Beckham Jr. is willing to take on the role. In a 34–20 victory over the Bengals, Beckham Jr. had his best game of the year, hauling in four passes for 116 yards. Beckham said ,
“Whatever role, in any capacity, I’m ready to play it,” “My entire career, early on might have been great for fantasy football, but when I go watch the highlights, it’s third downs, it’s big plays, it’s plays as an effective football player. That’s what I want to continue to be here, make big plays that keep the offense on the field, keep drives alive. I definitely won’t mind taking a touchdown every now and then, but we have a real goal here and a big opportunity in front of us.”
In an attempt to hold onto their top seed in the AFC, the Ravens will visit SoFi Stadium to play the Los Angeles Chargers.
The Ravens had a hit-or-miss start to the season, but they have picked up steam in recent weeks. They currently rank fourth in terms of points scored per game (27.6) and have scored over 400 yards of total offense in two of their last three games.
