REPORT : Raiders Get Ready To Take On Star TE Travis Kelce of the Chiefs

The great tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs, Travis Kelce, has gained notoriety both on and off the field. The Las Vegas Raiders will need to slow him down. For the first time this season, the Kansas City Chiefs, the opposing team of the Las Vegas Raiders, will be hosted at Allegiant Stadium.

The Raiders have lost nine of their previous ten games against the Chiefs, indicating that they have not had much luck against them lately. The Chiefs have long held the upper hand over the Raiders.

However, this Raiders club is distinct and plays far superior basketball. The team now has a new, tough culture that was absent before thanks to interim head coach Antonio Pierce.

Importance of Travis Kelce

Given the high stakes in this game, he can be certain that his guys will be ready.

But the Chiefs, with one of the best quarterbacks in the history of the game and an outstanding coach, are still the Chiefs. Star tight end Travis Kelce is another; he has performed admirably this season and is gaining notoriety outside of football.

Kelce has persisted in playing like the top tight end in football, if not the best. Kelce has racked up 64 receptions for 641 yards and five scores this season. In terms of receiving yards and receptions, he is ranked second among all tight ends.

The focal point of the Chiefs passing attack is eight-time Pro Bowler and four-time First-Team All-Pro Kelce. Despite his enormous 6-foot-5 and 250-pound physique, he glides like a wide receiver. As a tight end, he possesses a unique ability to create separation.

Pro Football Focus claims that although Kelce has lined up in line and out wide, he typically lines up in the slot. Because of all the places he may line up and his significant match-up advantage over any defender, many teams find it difficult to stop him.

Throughout his career, Kelce has outperformed the Raiders, catching 100 catches for 1,289 yards and 11 touchdowns in just 18 games. On Sunday, the Raiders will try to turn those odds around.
