Over the summer, the New York Jets took steps to at least get them to close, as they are all in on winning a Super Bowl. However, things quickly became out of control when Aaron Rodgers, the player brought in to lead them there, suffered an Achilles tear in his first game.
Despite their 4-3 record through seven games, they might have performed much worse, but it seems management was still eager to add additional punch before Tuesday’s trade deadline. Davante was seen in a jovial mood inside dressing room where a video was taken.
The Jets tried to acquire Davante Adams, a former teammate of Aaron Rodgers, through trade, but the Las Vegas Raiders rejected them, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

The Raiders let go of head coach Josh McDaniels and general manager Dave Ziegler just hours after the deadline, indicating that they were, to put it mildly, rather distracted.
Adams seems to be much happier today, having grown disillusioned under McDaniels in Vegas. But considering their time together in Green Bay, we’re willing to wager that he wouldn’t have objected to a trade that would have brought him and Rodgers back together.
