Two Rookies Were Made to Pay for a Massive $40,000 Dinner Bill by Cleveland Browns Players (VIDEO)

It’s as usual as anything in sports to charge rookies exorbitant amounts for dining out, and few fans enjoy witnessing it. Given that the majority of players are not able to have lengthy careers, it would be wiser to spend the money they earn.
The defensive linemen, which included rookies Siaki Ika and Isaiah McGuire, went out to eat together as the squad traveled and spent the week in Los Angeles getting ready for the Rams.

They had not had their “welcome to the NFL” moment for this long, but this night was undoubtedly the shock of their lives. When the dinner check arrived, the veterans got together to show the rookies the roughly $40,000 tab that they had racked up that evening.

The team and the rookies appear to have handled everything with ease. They had just recovered from a double-digit setback to the Denver Broncos and urgently needed some humor.

With a 7-4 record, the Browns hold third position in the AFC North. The likelihood of the Cleveland Browns qualifying for the NFL playoffs decreased after their loss to the Denver Broncos.

The Browns lost in Week 12 and fell to No. 6 in the rankings when the Steelers overtook them. The Browns would travel to play the Jaguars on wild card weekend.
