Golden State Warriors rookie Yaxel Lendeborg is already making headlines, and he has barely started his NBA journey. But while the young basketball star is busy attracting attention on the court, his girlfriend, Tacarra Shyann, has added another twist with a subtle social media post about his future.
Apparently, playing professional basketball is not enough. Now, fans are also examining relationship posts like detectives trying to solve a championship-level mystery.
She made an Instagram post on Saturday that showed her posing courtside at the Warriors’ home Chase Center while wearing Golden State apparel.
“first of many,” Shyann wrote as the post’s caption, suggesting that she intends to be supporting Lendeborg in Golden State for the foreseeable future.
And when your girlfriend posts something that fans think might hint at your future, the internet suddenly becomes a team of professional body-language experts.
Shyann and Lendeborg met in the summer of 2025, right before Lendeborg began his final college season with the Michigan Wolverines.
During an interview with WAG Talk from back in June, Shyann said that, “We met because he kept DM’ing me on Instagram, honestly. And I finally responded.”
For now, the rookie has enough on his plate. He needs to prove himself on the court while managing the attention surrounding his personality.
One thing is certain: Lendeborg’s NBA career is already attracting plenty of drama. If he keeps this up, the basketball may soon have competition from his social media headlines.
