The Thursday Night Football matchup between the Los Angeles Chargers and the Las Vegas Raiders was the lowest-rated and least-watched of the season.
In their stunning 63-21 victory over the Los Angeles Chargers on Thursday, the Las Vegas Raiders may have set records, but the overall performance of the game was more unfavorable.
The Raiders vs. Chargers AFC West matchup on Thursday had the lowest viewership (7.98 million) and lowest average rating (3.9) of any TNF game this season on Amazon Prime Video, according to Sports Media Watch.
The 12-game winning streak from the previous season was snapped by the streaming service. The first TNF match to decline this season was Thursday’s affair.
The number of people watching TNF on Amazon Prime Video is still up 25% from the previous season at this point in the season.
Cowboys – Seahawks game had broken a viewership record unlike Raiders- Chargers game
Just two weeks prior, on Thursday night, the Dallas Cowboys vs. Seattle Week 13 game set a record for Amazon’s TNF viewership with 15.26 million people.
With 9.56 million viewers, the Carolina Panthers vs. Chicago Bears Week 12 TNF match was the previous least-watched game on Amazon Prime Video this season. The Miami Dolphins vs. New York Jets game on Black Friday had the lowest rating before (4.0).

Regardless of the network, Thursday’s game was the seventh least watched of the season. This year’s International Series games comprised the bottom four.
Only the second year has Amazon Prime Video served as TNF’s exclusive host. The weekly event was previously shared by the streaming service in the seasons of 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, and 2021.
