In light of the uncertainty surrounding Trevor Lawrence‘s status for Week 14, the Jacksonville Jaguars have made a move at quarterback.
Before the Jags play the Cleveland Browns on Monday night, Lawrence sustained an ankle injury against the Cincinnati Bengals on Monday night. Although he won’t need surgery and shouldn’t miss much time, he is still a game-time decision.

The quarterback was allowed to return to practice this week and only received limited training, but the Jaguars are preparing for Sunday’s game with extra caution, as evidenced by the addition of another signal caller.
It has been reported by Tom Pelissero of NFL Media that Nathan Rourke has been added to the roster.

In the event that Lawrence is unable to play on Sunday, the Canadian quarterback, who has alternated between the active roster and the practice squad this season, would probably serve as CJ Beathard’s backup.
Beathard is also hurt; he has a shoulder ailment, but it shouldn’t keep him from participating if necessary.
