On Saturday night, the Detroit Lions appeared to win the game against the Dallas Cowboys by winning the 2-point conversion. That’s when the dispute started.
But when offensive lineman Taylor Decker reported as eligible before he caught a pass, officials would begin chatting among themselves. An unlawful touching penalty negated the Lions’ attempt to score on a 2-point conversion with 23 seconds remaining, which would have gone to Decker.
The Lions would ultimately lose the game, which was a startling turn of events.

Due to a faulty decision on the Cowboys’ first attempt for an offsides penalty, the Lions had two chances to convert, but Goff completed his pass incomplete on the final try, allowing the Cowboys to hold on for a 20-19 victory.
The Lions did not suffer too much from their loss as they had already secured their first division title in thirty years.
