On Monday Night Football, Jason Kelce shifted the ball before the snap. As a result, the Eagles were penalized, losing five yards on a third-and-one play and failing to score on the following play. They were forced to settle for a field goal, which proved to be costly because the Seattle Seahawks went on to win the game by a score of three points.

Kelce said according to Pro Football Talk,
“They’ve been warning me of that for years,” “I had a tendency to do that in the past so they’ve definitely warned me before. It’s obvious that after years of warnings but no consequences, he came to feel he could keep doing it until it really hurts them, which it did.
