Wide receiver Kadarius Toney will not be playing for the Kansas City Chiefs when they play the Baltimore Ravens in the AFC championship game on Sunday at M&T Bank Stadium.
As per Adam Schefter of ESPN, Toney, who hasn’t played since Week 15, was ruled out due to a hip ailment and for “personal reasons,” meaning he will miss the game.
Due of his difficulties with drops and mental errors on the field, Toney became a target of criticism on social media from irate Chiefs supporters. When word leaked out that he wouldn’t be playing in the AFC championship game, jokes about him began to circulate.
Chiefs now officially have ruled out WR Kadarius Toney for Sunday’s AFC Championship game due to a hip injury and personal reasons.
