Picking The Allstar Reserves For Each Conference & The Guys Who Will Likely Miss The Cut

The NBA announced the starters for the NBA Allstar game happening in at Indiana’s Gainbridge Fieldhouse on February 18th.

There weren’t many surprises as most of the starters were the guys that were expected to start but Shai Gilgeous-Alexander beating out 9 time Allstar starter Steph Curry and Damian Lillard beating out Jalen Brunson and Trae Young for the starting spots in their respective conferences.

With the starters being announced the reserves are set to be announced next week, Thursday February 1st. There are are a few guys who are automatics to be reserves because they could have easily been starters and there are some who will be fighting for spots. There will also be quite a few guys being left off because that’s just how talented the league is.

So let’s pick the reserves for each conference.

It should be noted that the reserves will be made up of 3 guards, 2 front court, and 2 of either considered wildcards.

Western Conference Reserves

Guard 1: Steph Curry
