With an 8-9 record, second place in the AFC West, and the 12th seed in the AFC, the Silver and Black concluded the 2023–24 NFL regular season.

The Raiders, along with the whole AFC North, which consists of the Pittsburgh Steelers (10-7) and the Baltimore Ravens (12-5) and Cincinnati Bengals (9-8) and Cleveland Browns (11-6). All three teams—the Ravens, Browns, and Steelers—have a ticket to the NFL playoffs in 2024 stamped.
The NFC South, which consists of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (9-8), New Orleans Saints (9-8), Carolina Panthers (2-15), and Atlanta Falcons (7-10), must also be faced by Las Vegas.

The Miami Dolphins, Los Angeles Rams, and Jacksonville Jaguars—all of which finished second in their respective divisions—will all be opponents of the Raiders because they placed second in the AFC West.
The Raiders will also play the Denver Broncos (8-9), Kansas City Chiefs (11-6), and Los Angeles Chargers (5-12) twice, as well as every other AFC West team.
Finally, the Raiders will play nine away games and eight home games at Allegiant Stadium in the upcoming season.
