The helmet worn by Patrick Mahomes has seen better days.
During the second half, the quarterback for the Kansas City Chiefs was struck so hard while scrambling out of the pocket that a piece of his helmet broke off and flew.

Referees halted play so that the Chiefs could handle the situation while Mahomes changed out of his helmet. He didn’t lose any time on the field and had an extra one.
