P.J. Tucker, a former player for the Miami Heat, is still expressing how unhappy he is to still play for the Los Angeles Clippers. Tucker is still making headlines about his future.
For “public comments reported during the week of February 5 expressing a desire to be traded to another team,” Tucker was fined $75,000 by the NBA on Thursday.
The league was referencing an interview that Tucker had that week with ClutchPoints regarding his desire to be traded to a contending team so that he could make a contribution. He has made several indications that he wants to leave the Clippers. He told Clutchpoints,
“I feel like I shouldn’t have to go through this,” “I didn’t ask to be here. I didn’t ask for and I didn’t demand a trade to be here.”
The incident happened shortly after Tucker shared a tale on Instagram of himself visiting Miami Beach and writing the words “Home Sweet Home” during the Clippers’ visit earlier this month to face the Heat. The big man for the Los Angeles Clippers is having trouble getting into the game after departing the Heat at the end of the 2022 campaign.
He has, nevertheless, demonstrated his ability to help championship contenders as a leader. Tucker participated in the Bucks 2021 championship game for around thirty minutes every game. He might be a possibility because the Heat thought highly of him while he was a member of the team.
