The home audience was electrified by Phoenix Suns forward Kevin Durant‘s massive slam over Giannis Antetokounmpo. This poster is going to stick in people’s minds for a long time.
It’s not often that giants (both figuratively and somewhat literally in terms of size) collide on the basketball court, particularly around the rim, but players like big Kevin Durant of the Phoenix Suns commit to doing just that every season.
After making himself open at the top of the key and driving to the paint with less than ten minutes remaining in the fourth quarter and Phoenix leading by double figures, Milwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo attempted to stop Durant’s attempt at a slam.

Kevin Durant reacts to his dunk
One of the season’s best, if not the most spectacular, dunks was executed by Durant, who then added the finishing touch by making the free throw to complete the And-1. He said,
“I’m there in the middle of the paint and it’s on me to finish. I’m glad I didn’t pull-up for floater or a mid range. I just wanted to be aggressive to get to the rim. I had missed a few shots that I thought I should have made early on, so I wanted to see one go down,” “I’m glad the crowd got ignited from that – we missed our home crowd being on the road for so long, so to feel the energy and that love, it was cool.”
With their 114-106 victory, the Suns have now won 11 of their past 14 games. In addition to his 28 points, Durant had 10 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal, and 2 blocks.
