An arrest has been made in the killing of beautiful Los Angeles model Maleesa Mooney. According to reports, Magnus Daniel Humphrey has been arrested in connection with the murder of Mooney.
According to the police, Humphrey was arrested on an “unrelated federal warrant” and is on federal probation for drug offenses.
The police have made headways and it’s good news for the family of Mooney.
Mooney, 31, had been bound, beaten, gagged and wedged inside a refrigerator inside her downtown Los Angeles apartment. Her body was discovered Sept. 12 when police conducted a welfare check.
Her sister, Jourdin Pauline, revealed to NewsNation in October that Mooney had damage to her entire body “from her head to her toes” and that she was pregnant.
Humphrey has waived extradition and was brought to L.A. to face a murder charge. An arraignment hearing is scheduled for Thursday morning.
The police did not disclose further information about Magnus Daniel Humphrey’s connection to Maleesa Mooney’s murder but since he’s been arrested, they could have something to pin him down.
