LeBron James is among those who believe Hawks point guard Trae Young ought to.
Many supporters and members of the media have expressed their displeasure with Young’s exclusion from the 2024 NBA All-Star Reserves, arguing that Young should have been chosen. The loudest voice in the NBA last night gave Young his full backing.
LeBron James, a 2024 All-Star starter and forward for the Lakers, showed his support for Young on social media late Friday night. James tweeted in reaction to a comment regarding Young’s exclusion from the All-Star Game:
“Agreed!!! I’m not quite understanding this! Cause it can’t be about Ws/Ls cause cats have definitely gotten in with wayyy nastier records in the past. He be cooking every night! Stop it! He’s an All-Star for sure. Something is real fishy.”

Trae Young’s reaction to Missing out on All-Star
After leading the Suns to victory with 32 points and 15 assists last night, Young was asked about missing the All-Star Game and whether he would take an injury replacement if one was provided. He said,
“I got a lot of love for the fans, but I don’t have much to say about it right now.” “Yeah I mean… I would just because I am not just representing myself and instead of being selfish and being an A**hole… just being honest… Yeah I could but I know I am not just representing myself and I haven’t got offered yet or who knows if they would offer me so that is how funny it is but I know if I do, I would not just be representing myself so I would go, but I have to get the invite first”
Young would tell you that the team’s three-game winning streak and recent victory over one of the NBA’s most talented teams is what matters to him the most. In tonight’s game against Golden State, Young was able to outplay Kevin Durant, lead his team to victory, and maintain the winning momentum.

We wonder how someone missed out putting Young in. Well, as long as he keeps playing this way he would make it sooner than later.
