Lakers guard D’Angelo Russell thinks he would have led the team in three-pointers made in a season. The Lakers are making progress in their attempt to avoid the terrible single-elimination play-in round.
With one month left in the regular season, the Lakers are presently the ninth seed. In order to secure a top-six seed in the Western Conference, the purple and gold will exert every effort to leave that place. If the Lakers—especially guard D’Angelo Russell—continue to play well, it won’t be simple, but it is achievable.
Because of his outstanding play over the past month and a half, Russell is getting closer to being the franchise’s all-time leader in three-point field goals made during a season.
Russell recently discussed breaking the record and what it would mean to him in a media interview.

Where does D’Angelo Russell stand in 3 point record holders ?
The 28-year-old guard is ten three-pointers away from breaking the record and ten away from tying it as of March 12. Currently holding the 29-year-old record with 183 made three-pointers is Lakers player Nick Van Exel.
Van Exel is followed by the legendary Kobe Bryant, Van Exel once more, and Chucky Atkins in fourth place.
Russell attempts 6.7 three-pointers on average and makes 2.8 of them each contest. This season, he is shooting 42.4%, easily making him the team’s best three-point shooter. The left-handed guard will break the record quickly; if he plays well against the Sacramento Kings on Wednesday, he might do so as soon as Saturday.
It’s an issue of “when,” not “if,” as the record is on the lien. He is thrilled to be on that incredible list, and we can’t wait for him to surpass it in less games played.
