Deion Sanders, former NFL star, has predicted that his son Shedeur Sanders might snub specific NFL teams. The football legend hinted at a potential family-first approach in the upcoming draft. Shedeur’s possible refusal to play for certain teams adds a spicy twist to the usual draft drama.
With Deion’s bold claim, speculation ran wild about how this saga will unfold on the field. Will Shedeur follow in his father’s footsteps and make waves with his team selection? Only time will tell if this prediction turns into reality, but one thing is for sure – the Sanders family is keeping football fans on their toes.
With an illustrious lineage and promising talent, Sanders is poised to make waves in the football world. His commitment to Jackson State University reflects his dedication to both the sport and his family legacy.

Shedeur, who plays for his father as a quarterback in Colorado, won’t be eligible for the NFL Draft until 2025, but Coach Prime already knows where he isn’t going and has threatened that they will pull an Eli Manning.
The former NFL QB famously refused to play for the then-San Diego Chargers when coming out of Ole Miss. He got his wish and landed in New York with the Giants.
Such a bold stance hasn’t been taken since, yet Sanders is ready to have Shedeur bring it back. And it appears his plans are the same for his other son, Buffaloes safety Shilo Sanders.
“I know where I want, kinda want them to go … so there’s certain cities that ain’t gonna happen. It’s gonna be an ‘Eli,’ we ain’t doing that,” Prime said on the ‘Million Dollaz Worth Of Game’ podcast.
The former star cornerback, who treats CB/wide receiver Travis Hunter like a son, doesn’t want his other star playing in certain cities either.
He believes both Shedeur and Travis will be high draft picks.
“Top four,” he said. “One of them is going to be No. 1.”
While Deion Sanders did not mention teams by name, he previously noted that he didn’t want Shedeur playing in cold weather and would not want him to be drafted by the Chicago Bears.
Coach Prime doesn’t even want Caleb Williams to go there despite having no connection to the former USC Trojans star QB.
“Chicago’s cold, man. You gotta think about that kind of stuff when you’re taking a young man,” he said in a recent interview on SiriusXM Mad Dog Radio. “Like see, when you take a guy from Ohio State and you bring him to Chicago, OK, I could understand that. But from California to Chicago? Not only that, they added what? One or two more games in the NFL. Seventeen games. Come on, man. You gotta factor in that stuff. That stuff matters.”
As the NFL community buzzes with speculation and opinions, Shedeur’s draft stock seems to ride a rollercoaster of uncertainty. The dynamics between player preference and team selection criteria create a unique narrative worth following closely. Fingers crossed!
