There is nothing wrong with Jayden Daniels‘ elbow. The former LSU quarterback put an end to any uncertainty about the state of his elbow on Friday, claiming it’s “perfectly fine” after a photo of him throwing a football went viral on Wednesday because of the way his elbow seemed.

Immediately following his Pro Day, #LSU QB and potential Top 3 pick Jayden Daniels is scheduled to meet with the #Patriots, #Commanders, #Giants, #Vikings, #Broncos and #Raiders, per his agent Ron Butler. Daniels has not previously met with any teams. pic.twitter.com/1wM92chLz8

While there is suspicion concerning Daniels’ elbow, it could just appear odd in the photo due to an unusual camera position or lighting. It’s also worth noting that no concerns concerning his elbow were raised during the pre-draft process.
Is Jayden Daniels getting overlooked?
Daniels is regarded as one of the top three quarterback prospects in the 2024 NFL draft class, along with Caleb Williams and Drake Maye.
Williams is widely projected to be the first overall pick by the Chicago Bears, but there is some discussion over whether Daniels or Maye will be the second quarterback off the board.
Daniels, the reigning Heisman Trophy winner, is coming off a 2023 season in which he completed 72.2% of his passes for 3,812 yards and 40 touchdowns against four interceptions in 12 games, while also running for 1,134 yards and ten touchdowns. If there was anything amiss with Daniels’ throwing elbow, it’s difficult to see him throwing for 40 touchdowns last season.
However, now that that shot has gone viral, suspicion regarding his elbow will most likely persist leading up to the draft.
