Ray-Ray McCloud, a former receiver and return specialist for the San Francisco 49ers, has officially signed with the Atlanta Falcons. One of the free agent signings by the Atlanta Falcons is officially a part of the team.
Ray-Ray McCloud, a receiver, has agreed to terms on a two-year contract for up to $6 million, the Falcons said on Monday.

The Buffalo Bills selected the 27-year-old McCloud in the sixth round of the 2018 NFL Draft, and he played for Buffalo for a year before leaving for training camp ahead of the 2019 campaign.
Ray-Ray McCloud’s journey in NFL so far
After spending six games with the Carolina Panthers, he was dismissed once more and went back to Buffalo without making an appearance in a game.
Before the 2020 campaign, McCloud made a lasting impression on the Pittsburgh Steelers, where he spent two seasons as the team’s main return specialist. He led the NFL with 38 punt returns in 2021, averaging 367 yards per return.
McCloud signed a two-year deal with the San Francisco 49ers shortly after free agency opened in 2022, where he continued to handle return duties.
The 5-9, 190-pound McCloud has carried the ball 15 times for 192 yards and another touchdown during his career. He has also caught 90 passes for 768 yards and one touchdown.
McCloud’s average return yardage as a returner was 9.6 yards per return on 138 punts for 1,326 yards and 22.6 yards per return on 108 kickoffs for 2,438 yards.
