Luka Doncic’s Crazy Trick Shot Labelled “Shot of the Season” Ends Rockets

In a manner that only he could, Luka Dončić put an end to the Houston Rockets’ 11-game winning streak on Sunday night.

At the Toyota Center on Sunday, the Dallas Mavericks star guided his club to a 125-107 victory over the Rockets, handing Houston its first defeat since March 6. In the victory, he scored 47 points in the end and drained nine 3-pointers, but it was an absurd underhanded basket in the third quarter that stole the show. The shot looked more like it belonged in a driveway game of H.O.R.S.E. than in an NBA arena.

Dallas Mavericks guards Kyrie Irving (2) and Luka Doncic (77) spa hands following a second quarter play against the Minnesota Timberwolves at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, February 13, 2023.

Dončić attempted to go past Jabari Smith Jr. at the 3-point line, but the Mavericks were already in a very comfortable position. Dončić pretended once, then walked through before deftly placing a sneaky shot from just a foot inside the arc as if it were nothing at all.

The NBA season’s most unbelievable shot is Luka Doncic’s long-range scoop

Luka Doncic consistently surpasses himself when playing basketball. Except for Stephen Curry, the star player for the Dallas Mavericks possesses a level of technical skill in the modern game that is unmatched. A player like Nikola Jokic is mostly successful because of his size and intelligence. Giannis Antetokounmpo triumphs thanks to his strength and agility. Doncic, on the other hand, rules the NBA by accomplishing feats that no other living person could ever hope to.

Doncic surged past the Rockets defense with the shot clock winding down and swished a one-handed scoop shot through the net. Visit this link to watch the play:

In his regular form, Doncic is a superior underhand shot-maker than your favorite player.
