Cody Rhodes concluded the tale by saying that some of the greatest icons in the company were involved in the mayhem that followed the American Nightmare’s victory over Roman Reigns for the WWE Universal Championship at WrestleMania 40.
For more over thirty minutes, Rhodes and Reigns battled it out, with each of them coming close to winning multiple times.

There were no regulations because it was a Bloodline regulations match, but wow, did things go out of control.
The Usos were the first to appear on stage, but as their action spilled onto the platform, the two ended up knocking each other out.

Then, Solo Sikoa saved the day for Reigns by storming the ring and striking Rhodes in the side.
The Philadelphia audience went completely crazy as The Rock and John Cena joined in on the action.

However, it wasn’t nearly as crazy as the moment The Undertaker suddenly appeared and gave Rock a chokehold before vanishing.
Seth Rollins attempted to assist Rhodes as well, but Reigns removed him before he could strike Rock with a chair.

It all came down to Rhodes and Reigns despite the impressive roster, as Cody delivered three Cross Rhodes finishes to secure the victory. The announcement that Roman Reigns’ tenure as the Universal Champion is ending after 1,314 days is huge for the WWE.
